STÉPHANIE + LISA’s wedding at Pavillon de la Jamaïque in Montreal, QC

When I decided to launch my own business as a wedding photographer, I knew that client connection would be at the core of my vision and values. To me, establishing a strong relationship with my couples is crucial for both parties.

Since brides and grooms are spending 6, 8, 10, and sometimes 14 hours with their photographer, they need to make sure they feel comfortable; if not, it will be a long, awkward day! To me, having this trust relationship not only makes the day more enjoyable, but also positively impacts the outcome of the photos.

When I met Stéphanie and Lisa, I immediately knew we would be a great fit. The two beautiful ladies walked in with the warmest, most welcoming smiles. I was ecstatic when they decided to move forward with me, and their wedding certainly did not disappoint.  First, I loved that they got ready in their home; more so, how they struggled to part away from one another when came the time to put on their dresses. They both radiated with kindness – kindness for each other, and for everyone present. My heart was in a constant state of extreme melting, as both incessantly repeated how happy they were to have me document their big day.

Not only did I adore them as individuals, but I was floored by the passion that brought them together. During portraits, the love shared between these stunning brides was so palpable that everyone there had chills go down their spines. Stéphanie and Lisa were so comfortable with our presence that they were able to let go, fully immersing themselves in their own little world.

Everything was absolutely perfect, and I am so happy I had the chance to photograph a day filled with laughter, tears of joy, and some intense partying! The venue – Pavillon de la Jamaïque – was beautifully decorated by the ever-so-talented Katayoun from Unikevent. Today, I am sharing highlights of their big day, but I will soon dedicate an entire post on the stunning wedding details. Stay tuned!
