With our days getting shorter, and the weather getting colder, I figured I would post one of the weddings I photographed when the sun was still warm and bright.

N + M’s wedding was absolutely fantastic. It was the first time I was documenting a wedding at the Royal St. Lawrence Yacht Club in Dorval, Qc. It is always exciting to shoot at a new location as it gives a blank canvas for creativity. My photographer eyes were quite pleased with the outdoors ceremony setup, where large trees created a beautiful backdrop to the bride and groom.

Not only was the location great, but the couple were amazing as well! N+M were very laid back, and throughout their entire day, they did not hold back on their emotions. I am a firm believer that the outcome of your wedding photos depends not only on your photographer, but on how you are able to let go and simply live the moments as they happen. During the ceremony, N+M laughed and cried from their hearts, which ultimately made everyone in attendance cry, too! When we were doing their portraits, they immersed themselves in the present, completely forgetting the two photographers snapping away. They enjoyed every second with their guests, from the cocktails to the reception. Ultimately, N+M’s big day was filled with genuine moments, and I believe they truly took in everything as it happened.
