I met Jenny and Sam a few years ago when they hired Grey Sparrow to photograph their Montreal wedding. I didn’t end up shooting their big day, but I had the chance to see them time and time again as I photographed several of their friend’s weddings which they attended.

I was ecstatic when Jenny reached out and had me photograph her first pregnancy. And then her second! This is one of the things I love about being a wedding photographer. We are present during one of the most emotional days of a couple’s life, so to know they wish to have other important life events captured is really touching. The connexion with my bride and groom only intensifies as I get to witness the love they now share with their little ones.

Jenny and Sam hired me for a one hour, at home photo session. Their beautiful, bright home was the perfect backdrop for this express photoshoot. The high energy dynamics between an older brother, a two-year-old, and a baby sister was quite the experience! I had SO much fun documenting them in all the craziness, from them playing, crying, hugging and exchanging kisses…the whole thing was fantastic. It’s always such a pleasure to photograph these children, but I really appreciate when parents are fully on-board to participate in the session. It gives life to the photos, but most importantly, these are memories their children will be able to look back and cherish when they are older.
