People sometimes ask if I shoot weddings outside of Montreal, and the answer is: yes! I typically go to Quebec City about two or three times per year, and I absolutely love it. Old Quebec is so different compared to Montreal, so it’s refreshing as it allows me to explore my creativity in a newer environment.
This time, I was extremely lucky to work with the wonderful Jessie and Lily from Hôte Événements. Working with them is always such a pleasure, as we simply get along so well! Additionally, the couple they sent me was absolutely amazing. Carley and Mathieu were so nice and down-to-earth that it felt like we were photographing our friends! Not only were the couple lovely, but their friends & family were extremely welcoming. Great work crew: check. Great couple and guests: check. Stunning venue: check. We really could not complain!
Château Frontenac is the perfect backdrop for a wedding, especially when most of the guests are from out of town. We were able to capture romantic portraits with the Château as a backdrop– even amidst the thousands of tourists! The ceremony and reception rooms are so very charming, especially with the beautiful décor created by Lily & Jessie. Everything was perfect.
Carley, Mathieu, it was such a pleasure for us to document your big day. You were so beautiful together, and I wish you all the very best for your future endeavours. Cheers!
