Alessia and Dylan’s wedding was an absolute dream!

It all started at the beautiful William Gray Hotel, nestled in Old Montreal. I love the rooms there, the styling and decor are phenomenal, plus the light is generally dramatic. What is great about this venue is that you can get everything done on-site. From the getting ready, to portraits, ceremony, and reception. For Alessia and Dylan, we photographed their getting ready, first look, and portraits; then, we headed for Beatrice.

Now, Beatrice. I ADORE this venue! First, the terrace is breathtaking and allows guests to feel in an enchanted forest, even if it’s right in the middle of the city! Second, the food. The food is out. of. this. world. I have photographed hundreds of weddings, ate as many wedding meals, and Beatrice is up there on my favourite’s list. I personally don’t even understand how they can nail every meal when serving 100-200 guests. It’s awe-inspiring! Third, the service is top notch. As a vendor, I am used to being served last, and oftentimes, to be left behind (pleaseeeee give me bread and water!!!). Don’t get me wrong, I understand, as staff priority should ALWAYS be the guests. However, Beatrice simply treats vendors AS guests, which is a detail I genuinely appreciate.

Add in the magic created by KA Mariage, and voilà, you have a dream wedding right there! Guests all gasped when they entered the beautifully decorated room. The candles gave a magical vibe once the sun had set. I am so happy I had the chance to capture Alessia and Dylan’s wedding!
